- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source award in accordance to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), authorized or required by statue. The Cincinnati VA Medical Center Radiology Service has a requirement for an Expression MRI Patients' Vital Signs Digital Monitoring System to replace an analog system that is not compatible with MRI equipment. The Expression system is specifically designed to withstand strong magnetic fields with high quality results and increased patient comfort and safety. The government intends to make an award to sole source this upgrade requirement to Invivo of Orlando, FL. The Government intends to award to only one source (Invivo Inc.) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This is a proprietary system available exclusively through the manufacturer. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available.
