- Description
- The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 1 NSN that is code and P/N sourced to East Penn Manufacturing CO (04055) and BAE Systems (6W728). This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class of 6140. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) basic contract year with an option to extend the contract for up to four additional years in one year increments. The procurement will be in accordance with FAR Part 12. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 3/16/2012 with an anticipated award of 8/8/2012 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. An alternate source must submit data and be approved by cognizant Government engineering activity. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the descretion of the Government. The duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. This solicitation will be issued as other than full and open competition, unrestricted procurement.
