- Description
- SYNOPSIS : The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office - SCRO, plans to issue solicitation IFBP05091200002 for the construction of, to include but not limited to, replacement of powerhouse generator. The successful contractor will furnish one 2500KW, 1800 RPM at 12470 VAC, 3 phase, 60 Hz generator, new switchgear, new high voltage cabling etc. The performance period is 415 calendar days after receipt of a notice to proceed. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials and labor for the complete construction of the work located at the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Worth, Texas. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation will available on or about March 8, 2012 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately April 19, 2012. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website http//www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments will also be distributed soley through this site. Faith Based and Community Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
