- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined Synopsis/Solicitation number MMLR0312SS00042 is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38. FAR Subpart 12 procedures are being utilized for this procurement. NAICS Code and Small Business Classification: The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334419. This solicitation is 100% Set Aside for Small Business. Delivery: 30 days after award. Miscellaneous: -Vendor must provide product pictures and product specifications for items quoted. -The Government intends to make a single award; however the Government reserves the right to award no contract at all. Basis For Award: Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Evaluation criteria are: -Technical Acceptability (meeting the salient characteristics listed below) -Cost Quote Submission Information: -Quotes shall include: The name of the manufacturer, product line and item number or part number, description (that clearly demonstrates the offered items comply with the stated characteristics), individual item pricing. Delivery information should show that the vendor is capable of delivering the purchased items 30 days or sooner after contract award. -Pricing shall include all shipping charges (FOB Destination). Charles Ingold at charles.ingold@usmc.mil prior to 10:00am (EST) 14 March 2012. Questions received after this date and time will not be considered.
