- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue competitive contract for two commercially available amplifiers in support of the NAVAIR Metrology and Calibration Program for the calibration of Radar Test Sets. Items will be: one model 100Watt (1MHz to 1000MHz) Solid State Microwave Amplifier and one 20Watt 4 GHz to 18GHz Solid State Microwave Amplifier as specified in the attached two technical specifications. This equipment is intended for use by Navy personnel in shipboard and shore-based calibration laboratories as well as other DOD personnel in secondary calibration laboratories. All offers must conform to the attached technical specifications which are available upon request. All calibration equipment and support standards must provide and/or allow traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) located in Gaithersburg, Maryland and/or Boulder, Colorado. The contract will include technical service manuals, certificates of conformance and a minimum 1 year manufacturer's warranty. The government will review all proposals to ensure the technical specifications are met and reserves the right to perform technical verification test prior to contract award. Contract award will be to the offeror who proposal is technically acceptable and represents the best overall value to the government.
