- The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for one or more evaluated Firm Fixed Price Requirements-type Contract(s) with four possible option years to provide Readjustment Counseling services to Veterans located in the areas surrounding Roswell and Carlsbad, New Mexico. The Las Cruces, New Mexico Vet Center, which will provide points of contact, patient referrals, and therapeutic guidance, is requesting proposals from individuals or firms to provide full Readjustment Counseling Services to individuals, families, or groups. The Vet Centers fill a vital role for Veterans of both current and previous conflicts; the Counseling sought by this notice and solicitation will in turn be vital to fulfilling that mission. The RFP will be available on April 9, 2012 and the closing date is currently scheduled to be on April 20, 2012. The actual dates will be identified in the RFP along with written descriptions of the requirements necessary to fill this need. Interested offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Firms can register via the CCR internet site at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx by referencing the link "What You Need to Register." Interested parties should also submit their representations and certifications on-line at https://orca.bpn.gov/ after their CCR registration has been completed.
