- SOLE SOURCE. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Memphis, TN, intends to negotiate and award a Sole Source contract with SPI MOBILE PULLEY WORKS, INC. citing FAR part 6 subpart 6.302-1. To the best of the Government's knowledge, there are not any other firms in the area that can satisfy this requirement. Supplies to be provided under this contract consist of Two Suction Side Liners, ACI (C-1903) used to operate the dust pan main dredging pump. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, however interested firms may submit a capability statement in response to the above requirement with price information by March 12, 2012, 10:00 AM CST to Valerie Marshall, Contract Specialist, Phone: (901) 544-3619, Fax: (901) 544-3710, Email: Valerie.marshall@mvm02.usace.army.mil. A determination by the Government not to open competition to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
