Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Caliper Life Sciences, 68 Elm Street, Hopkinton, MA 01748-1602, for continued maintenance of three Caliper instruments: an IVIS Spectrum, S/N IS06242N4014, an IVIS Spectrum, S/N IS0951N5115; and a LabChip GX II, S/N GS1018N0216. Coverage includes unlimited priority on-site repair, parts, labor and travel, PM visit, first priority for emergency on-site service, unlimited user of Caliper Life Scences technical support weekdays, and software and firmware updates. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
