- Description
- The Social Security Administration requires shredding services at several locations throughout Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. The contractor shall provide secure bins to collect paper documents, and shall either transport the documents to a location for their destruction or destroy the documents on-site. Monthly reports of services provided are required. Security clearances are required for staff collecting and processing the documents to shred. The government plans for one firm fixed price contract with one base year and four option years, to provide all services for all locations. Recycling the shredded material is encouraged. The contractor retains the sale price of shredded material. This is a pre-solicitation notice which provides limited information. The solicitation is attached with this notice at www.fbo.gov and includes information on the current contract.
