Description
VETERANS AFFAIRS SEEKING WAREHOUSE SPACE The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease 5,000 rentable square feet in of warehouse storage space in El Paso, TX. The space must be fully protected by a sprinkler fire system, be climate controlled, and be accessible from the street level with a private entrance large enough to accommodate motorized pallet lifts, towing dollies, and forklifts. The space must be secured by at least two forms of physical security (primary and alternative) and must be monitored by a security system with remote notification. On-site parking for four (4) vehicles is required. The lease will be a full service lease with a firm term of one (1) years, with four (4), one (1) year renewal option periods. The property must be within the ten (10) miles of 5001 N. Piedras, El Paso, TX 79930. A Market Survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by VA personnel. Interested offerors must submit the following to Jenelle R. Holloman, Contract Specialist, at Jenelle.Holloman@va.gov no later than 12:00pm MST on 3/26/2012: "Name and address of the proposed property "Proof of ownership "Pictures "Map/proof the proposed property is within the delineated area. Please note: The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. This advertisement is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for proposals. A solicitation for offers will be issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs at a later date. All interested parties will submit a request for the solicitation in writing to the attention of Ms. Holloman at the above address. Potential offerors shall describe the property. A site investigation of all properties will be conducted. Complete access of all properties will be required at the time of the site investigation. The VA will not enter into any sublease or ground lease. All offerors that want the VA to enter into a sublease or ground lease will not be considered.
