- Sources Sought / Request for Information W91WMC-12-S-0002 The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers - Information Technology (ACE-IT) Most Efficient Organization (MEO) is conducting market research to develop an Acquisition Strategy for continuation of contracted support covering a full spectrum of classified and unclassified Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT) support services. These services are under the management and technical control of ACE-IT. IM/IT support services are directed at supporting USACE locations within the continental United States (CONUS), Pacific Ocean Division, Honolulu District, Alaska District, and Puerto Rico. Locations include more than 1,500 remote Area and Field Offices, many in isolated areas, housed in diverse types of facilities totaling approximately 41,000+ end-users. Support includes functions, services, and tasks associated with IM/IT encompassing the following: administration and management, automation, communications, information assurance, records management, printing and publications, and visual information. Responsibility will be assumed for all existing equipment, processes, functions, etc. Services will include support for two national Data Centers located in Portland, Oregon and Vicksburg, Mississippi respectively, as well as response for Emergency Operations and disaster operations as required. Period of performance for continuation of services will be from 1 October 2013 thru 30 September 2014. General information describing contract service needs and questions to identify capabilities are attached. Respondents are requested to respond to their abilities to support any or all of the services identified. This Sources Sought/Request for Information (SS/RFI) is NOT a Request for Proposals and does not reflect a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award supporting ACE-IT. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with replying to this notice. No Proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. RFI responses shall include: 1) name and address of responding company, CAGE code, business size and applicable small business sub-categories, company point of contact, telephone number, fax number and email addresses; and 2) capability packages to include responses to the attached questions. Responses are limited to 10 pages with no less than 1" margins, Times New Roman 12 point font in MS Word or searchable ".pdf" format and shall be submitted electronically to Angie Stokes, Angela.M.Stokes@usace.army.mil and reference W91WMC-12-S-0002. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring modifications to this Sources Sought Notice.
