- This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is 2435166 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-57. This is not a small business set-aside. Delivery within 30 Days, ARO and acceptance will be at Bethesda, Maryland. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), Station Support/Simplified Acquisition (SS/SA) Branch has a requirement on behalf of National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) to purchase a MP Imaging System. The system has the following requirements: 1) Epi-Red Fluorescence and 2) Epi-Green Fluorescenece. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, is applicable to this acquisition. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items is applicable. Specific evaluation: (1) Ability to meet technical specifications and (2) Ability to deliver on time and within specification. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required Implement Statues or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The quotations are due March 19, 2012 3:00PM EST and will be submitted hard copy or electronically to Jasmine Snoddy, Contract Specialist, 31 Center Drive, Room 1B59, Bethesda, Maryland 20890 or email at Snoddyj@mail.nih.gov.
