- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The National Park Service is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to determine the interest and capability of economically disadvantaged woman owned small businesses capable of providing lifeguard uniforms using standard industry practices in the production and in the lettering of items offered under an IDIQ contract. The contract period of performance is from May 1, 2012 through April 30, 2013 with (4) possible subsequent option years. Vendor must be prepared to receive and fully process orders between May 1, 2012 and August 30, 2012. Orders will be placed by individual parks using the delivery order procedure in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. Delivery shall be within 7 calendar days of receipt of the order with FOB destination. Vendor will provide a written warranty and return process equal to or greater than their standard warranty practice. The applicable NAICS is 315999 Other Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing. Vendors interested in performing services for this project are invited to contact Lori Achkar, Contract Specialist, via email at lori_achkar @nps.gov no later than Monday, March 12, 2012 at 2:00pm ET. Responses shall include the following information (1) Company Name, DUNS number, Address, Point of Contact, Phone Number and Email Address (2) Business Size, and (3) a CAPABILITY STATEMENT including a summary of three recent (within the past three years) and relevant (similar projects to this requirement) projects, including references for each project. The notice is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quote or Request for Proposal and it is not considered to be a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to the Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided.
