- Project Number 636-12-803, Remodel Conference Room. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to Renovate VBA Conference Room on the second floor of Building 5 at the Lincoln Division of the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System 600 South 70th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68510. Work includes general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. Major items of work include, but are not limited to the following work: (1) Removal of the 2nd floor unisex bathroom; (2) Removal of the coffee bar; (3) Construction of a wall with door & sidelight; (4) Installation of A/V equipment; (5) Installation of black-out shades; (6) Removal of existing and placement of new flooring; and (7) Installation of electronic outlets. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA263-12-B-0340 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about March 12, 2012. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit is tentatively scheduled to be held on March 21, 2012 (See solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The Bid Opening is tentatively scheduled to be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 calendar days of award notification. The Period of Performance is expected to be 45 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
