- THIS IS A SYOPSIS/SOLICITATION. ALL QUOTES SHALL BE RECEIVED BY THE CLOSING DATE AND TIME LISTED BELOW (last paragraph). Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued as a Full and Open Competition and will result in one contract award. This RFQ is issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures pursuant to FAR Part 13. RFQ W52P1J-12-Q-0006 is hereby issued for quotes only. The offeror that has the lowest overall quote and can meet all requirements below will be awarded the contract. This requirement is for the procurement of one high capacity, heavy duty shredding machine. EBA 5141 CC (same or similar), 220V compatible EBA 5141 CC: Multifunction control element EASY_SWITCH with integrated optical indicators for the operational status of the shredder; Powerful 1600 watt motor for continuous operation. Large feed opening of 405 mm for convenient feeding of large paper formats. Automatic start and stop via a photo cell; Patented ECC - Electronic Capacity Control indication of the used sheet capacity during shredding process. Automatic oil injection on the cutting shafts during shredding operation for constantly high shred performance. Convenient, environmentally-friendly shred bin made of impact-resistant plastic with 165 litres volume for the shreds (can be used with or without plastic bag). Fully closed gear box housing; fine cut 0.8 x 12 mm to meet the demands of security level 5 Please submit a model number, along with product image with your quote.
