- This is a pre-solicitation notice. The Government intends to procure commercial item services under (FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items) for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Produce for the VA San Diego and VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare Systems. The contractor is required to provide Fruits and Vegetable Produce on a scheduled basis per solicitation requirements and schedule. This shall be for a base contract of 6 months beginning April 1, 2012 this solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses. The solicitation will be available for issue on March 9, 2012 on Fedbizopps.gov, reference solicitation number VA262-12-Q-0546. Solicitation will be posted on or about March 09, 2012. NAICS number is 42480; Size Standard is 100 employees.
