- Description
- This is a notice of intent to sole source, not a request for a proposal. A solicitation document will not be issued and proposals will not be requested. The Government intends to award a sole source contract to ALK Technologies, Herrontown Rd., Princeton, NJ 06504 for a one year software license renewal for Defense Table of Official Distances (DTOD) customized version of the commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) PC*Miler Worldwide software and Multi-Version Switch. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541511, and the small business size is $25M. The DTOD program is an Office of the Secretary of Defense mandated program that is currently operated and managed by Headquarters Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (HQ SDDC) on behalf of all DOD agencies and activities worldwide. The DTOD system is the single automated land mileage calculating program supporting vouchers and payments for worldwide DOD temporary duty (TDY) and permanent change of station (PCS) travel, freight movements and personal property shipments. This system incorporates CONUS and OCONUS requirements, is compatible with commercial industry standards and supports the Defense Travel System (DTS) re-engineering milestones. HQ SDDC has the need of continued software support through the renewal of the software license for the customized version of the PC*Miler software used by the DTOD program. Any contractor that believes it can provide the stated product can provide a statement demonstrating its capabilities. Responses received may be used for future acquisitions.
