- Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC)-Ann Arbor Healthcare System, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Radio Advertising within the Detroit/Ann Arbor area for Nursing positions for the period Date of Award through September 30, 2012, with four (4) years in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions and provisions of the contract solicitation, NAICS Code 541840, size standard is $7 million. The Contractor will be an FM broadcaster that covers all of southeast Michigan. They will have an adult contemporary format that attracts a broad and diverse range of college educated listeners. Each week day during the early morning drive time the contractor will have a selected individual or group of individuals recite the Pledge of Allegiance. The Pledge of Allegiance will be followed by a 10 second name mention and tagline that includes the words brought to you by ¦'VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System'. Veterans at the medical center will be given the opportunity to call in to recite the pledge. The contractor will provide 60 second live read endorsements and 60 second recorded commercials that convey the benefits of a career as a VA nurse. The live read endorsements will air a minimum of four times a week, Monday-Friday during the morning drive time and will be communicated through key copy points and testimonials from nurses and Veterans. The recorded commercials will air ten times a week, Monday-Friday during the daytime broadcasting period. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Contractor must provide evidence indicating that this service is and has been their primary business for a period of greater than fifteen (15) years. an FM broadcaster that covers all of southeast Michigan. Offerors failing to meet this requirement will not be considered for award. Offers are due no later than 3:00 PM (EST) on March 30, 2012.
