- Synopsis For Matagorda Ship Channel, Texas, Entrance Channel in Matagorda County, TX Solicitation No. W912HY-12-B-0005 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract for hopper deep channel dredging of approximately 478,000 cubic yards of the Matagorda Ship Channel with confined disposal of sandy/silty maintenance material placed into offshore Placement Area 1; approximately 478,000 cubic yards of maintenance material; 10,622 CY/day. Period of Performance is 45 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. The Solicitation issued will be firm fixed price. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 6 April 2012. Response date is 4 May 2011 @2:00 PM. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 million.
