- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the International Right of Way (IRWA) for 2012 membership for 83 FHWA representatives. Membership in IRWA supports the Executive Director's objectives outlined in its March 9, 2002 memo on Professional Associations and Development Activities. FHWA's Agency Membership in this professional organization is intended to provide professional development exposure, experience and activities to those individuals who are actively engaged in work that falls within the professional field(s) associated with this organization. The proposed action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a response identifying their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the total estimated value is not to exceed $17,000; the anticipated award date is March, 2012.
