- 0001 The Contractor shall provide all labor and materials to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on two (2) 80 Ton GE Locomotives, located at building 608B, Naval Support Activity, Mechanicsburg, Pa 17055. The preventive maintenance is to be performed at regularly scheduled intervals for a one year period from the date of the award of the contract. Minor defects found during the performance of the preventive maintenance inspection shall be completed within five (5) days after completion of the inspection. These repairs shall not exceed more than eight (8) hours of labor and $350 in material. 0002 See Attachment A for details of the preventive maintenance to be performed, inventory of equipment, and facilities furnished by the Government. Scheduled maintenance requirements are as follows: a. Semi-Annual Requirement “ within 15 days of award. b. Quarterly Requirement “ within 85 “ 95 days of completion of the Semi-Annual maintenance. c. Annual Requirement “ with 85-95 days of completion of the Quarterly maintenance. d. Quarterly Requirement “ within 85-95 days of completion of the Annual maintenance. 0003 The Contractor shall prepare a report of all defects found during the performance of the scheduled preventive maintenance which require repairs beyond the labor and materials cost of the scheduled preventive maintenance as listed in paragraph 0001. The report shall include a description of the defect found, labor hours associated with completion of the repairs and all material cost associated with the repairs. Labor rates and material mark-up associated with the repairs shall be based on the bid prices submitted by the Contractor in Exhibit Line Items (ELIN) A701, A702; B701, B702; C701, C702. Completion times associated with these repairs will be specified upon issuance of the task order authorized the repairs to be performed. The approximate solicitation release date is 19 March 2012, The estimate cost range is between $150,000 and $250,000. The North American Industry Classification System(NAICS) Code is 488210 and the size standard is $7.0 Million. The solicitaion is 100% Small Business set-aside. This will be a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract, with a base year and four option years. This solicitation is available in electronic format only.
