- This is a sole-source synopsis that provides tentative notification of theSpace and Naval Warfare System Center Atlantics intent to increase thecontract(s) ceiling of N65236-07-D-7882/7883/7884 with BAE Systems TechnologySolutions and Services/Englobal Technical Services, Inc/ Honeywell TechnologySolutions by $23 Million to cover known requirements. The primary focus area ofthis contract is to provide engineering support to the DLA Systems andApplications PortFolio to design, install and maintain Automated Fuel HandlingEquipment and Automatic Tank Gauging Systems at DoD fuel facilities worldwide.The planned projects are identical to the projects currently being performed bythe encumbent contractors under these contracts. This multiple award contractwill expire on 02 June 2012. Since contract clause 52.217-8 is in the contract,it is anticipated that the contracts will be extended for six months through 2December 2012. Not awarding awarding this ceiling increase modification wouldcause negative impact to the government and would impact fuel operations to theUS military worldwide. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitiveproposals. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidencethat competition of the work required during the extension period would beadvantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not tocompete this contract extension period based on this notice is solely withinthe discretion of the Government.
