- The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI) has a requirement to replace and upgrade the existing control systems for the TRIGA Mark F Reactor and the Cobalt Irradiator facilities. The NAICS code is 541512 and the business size standard is $25 Million. An offer which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party shall be deemed technically unacceptably. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated on best value which may include price, delivery and past performance in accordance with the evaluation criteria in the solicitation. The solicitation package will be available for download at www.fbo.gov on or about April 2, 2012. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. All interested vendors are responsible for monitoring the www.fbo.gov for the release of the solicitation package, for any other pertinent information, including information about the site visit, and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. NOTE: The solicitation release date cited above is an estimated date. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
