- The Center for Health Care Contracting -Medical Information Technology Contracting Branch, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234, intends to issue a solicitation as a competitive 100% 8(a) set-aside for the US Army Information Center (USAMITC), who have a requirement for Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) support. This will be a non-personal service to provide Tier 1 with Level I though Level III service desk support and basic network trouble shooting for the MEDCOM. A Firm-Fixed-Price, Single Award Contract is anticipated for a period of performance not to exceed 60 months, which will consist of a one (1) month Phase-In period, eleven (11) month base year, and four twelve (12) month option years. Award will be made to the best value proposal, which is determined to be the most beneficial to the Government based on the criteria set forth in the solicitation. The official release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry website https://acquisition.army.mil on or about 16 APRIL 2012, with proposals due on or about 16 MAY 2012. At the bottom of the page, click on the link to Attachments. Download the solicitation as an MS Word attachment. The on-line version of the RFP includes all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of this RFP will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. The proposal will be submitted in hard copy form only. No electronic submission of proposals will be accepted. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. Difficulties accessing the ASFI should be directed to the ASFI team via e-mail at ASFI@redstone.army.mil.
