- Description
- The General Services Administration (GSA) Pacific Rim Region announces an opportunity for construction services for a repair and alterations project "USAO 10th and 17th Floor Carpet and Paint," at the U.S. Courthouse, 312 N. Spring St., Los Angeles, CA. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, supplies, materials, parts, equipment, and tools to perform the specified work. The scope of work for the "USAO 10th and 17th Floor Carpet and Paint", project includes but is not limited to the following: Paint and re-carpeting of USAO space on the 10th and 17th floors. Contractor will be responsible for providing blackout vertical blinds at the 10th floor transaction counter. Contractor shall be responsible for providing new base throughout, prep work, all furniture moving, and 100 boxes per floor (1.5 cubic ft box) to allow the tenant to pack up personal possessions. Boxes will be moved by the contractor once personal possessions have been packed by tenant. This requirement is a competitive, 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. See Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 19.1403 for status as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The NAICS associated with this procurement is 236220. The small business size standard associated with this NAICS is $33.5 million. The estimated project cost is between $200,000 and $400,000, with anticipated project duration of approximately 180 calendar days. The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 03/26/2012. The technical specifications in the RFP are considered Sensitive but Unclassified Information. Therefore, interested offerors will need to be approved prior to gaining access to the RFP package. In order to be granted access, an offeror must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (URL: http://www.ccr.gov). Once you have registered with CCR you will be required to register with FedBizOpps. No federal materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites.
