- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to issue a sole source BPA to SWS Environmental Services (SWS) to perform clean-up and removal of hazardous material/waste seized at clandestine drug laboratories by DEA, state, local, or other Federal law enforcement agencies at authorized removal sites in the required coverage area (the states of Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi). Disposal of said material/waste is to occur in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. SWS is the only vendor with the required equipment, response capabilities, and storage facilities for the prescribed coverage area(states of Mississippi, Georgia, and Florida). Additionally SWS is the only vendor with personnel who can immediately perform in the entire coverage area, where said personnel has active security clearances and has received the requisite training in accordance with applicable Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Hazard Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for all three states.
