Description: Size/Dimension: 34"LX34"W; 18"H; 25.0 LB WT; MATERIAL:INCONNEL; FUNCTION: MIXING CHAMBER. AMC: 2C The approximate solicitation issue date will be: 22 MAR 2012.The approximate response date will be: 23 APR 2012.The anticipated award date will be: 30 JUN 2012. History: Last buy September 23, 2008 to General Electric, Qty: 166 each. Buyer: Thomas Kanaly, Ph: 405-734-8109; Fax: 405-734-8106;thomas.kanaly@tinker.af.mil Current qualified sources are: General Electric Corporation (Cage:07482), C F Roark Welding &Engineering (Cage: 00518) EngineticsCorporation Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (orServices) required are available from only one or a limited number ofresponsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services willsatisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is forsupplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate withonly one, or a limited number of sources under authority of FAR 6.302. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or themanufacture meets qualification requirements at the time of award inaccordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Contract award will not be held uppending qualification of SAR packages. The solicitation identifies theoffice where additional information can be obtained concerningqualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. First Article Government test may be required. It is suggested thatsmall business firms or others interested in subcontractingopportunities in connection with the described procurement make contactwith the firm(s) listed. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating tothe procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot befurnished by the Government. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policiescontained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However,interested persons may identify to the contracting officer theirinterest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with acommercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors orpotential Offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested,the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of theconcern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation ofproposals or in the source selection process.
