- Sole Source Justification Letter Travis AFB intends to award a sole source purchase order for Carticel for Travis AFB. This is a posting for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FM442720590854. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-55, effective 03 Jan 2012, DPN 20111220, effective 20 Dec 2011 and AFAC 2012-0104, effective 04 Jan 2012. This acquisition will be solicited as a Sole Source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112. The business size standard is 500 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 6515. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3841. Requirement Description: 0001- Surgical item - Carticel to be implanted back into patient tentatively scheduled between April 12, 2012 and May 02, 2012. Qty 1.
