- DESCRIPTION The Network Contracting Office (NCO) plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain Armored Car Services for the VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS), Mare Island, Martinez, Redding and Mather. The solicitation number for this RFP is VA261-12-R-0634. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 15, 2012 with an anticipated proposal due date of April 2, 2012 Contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment, labor, and transportation to provide armored car cash pick-up and delivery service for the VANCHCS. The Period of Performance is to begin on/about May 1, 2012 through Sep 30, 2012 with four one-year option years. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The NAICS is 561613 and the size standard is $12.5 million. This acquisition is 100% unrestricted. This is a firm fixed priced contract. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov.login.aspx. All questions shall be submitted in writing to Helena.zhao@va.gov. Interested firms fitting one or more of the Socio-economic (Service Disable Veterans Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Business category should send their information to Helena.Zhao@va.gov no later than 10:00 am Pacific Time, March 14, 2012. Information should include: Name of your Company, POC name, phone numbers, email address, CCR/DUNS certification, and indicate status i.e. SDVOSD, VOSB, and/or Small Business, if claiming SDVOSB and VOSB please provide VetBiz certification.
