- TS-PHST-202A Drawings Item Description #2 Item Description #1 This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote or Invitation for Bid. DLA Troop Support is seeking to identify possible sources that can supply NSNs 3940-01-600-1308 and 3940-01-600-1309 Sling, Cargo, Net (see attached Item Descriptions and Drawings). Please note that these NSNs are replacing the previous NSNs 3940-00-892-4373 and 3940-00-892-4374, respectively; however, please see the new technical data package as several of the specifications have changed. Interested contractors are requested to review the attached drawings and testing requirements carefully to identify any potential manufacturing challenges and formulate any questions. DLA Troop Support is researching the possibility of a solicitation for the referenced items under a long-term indefinite quantity type contract. The contract base period may be for a term of one year or two years. Furthermore, the solicitation may contain an option or options to extend the term of the contract. Pricing for the base year(s) will be provided up front for the contract. Option periods may be provided upfront or may be linked to a Producer Price Index, which would be adjusted annually or to an EPA clause. These items will be subject to First Article Testing (FAT), Product Demonstration Model (PDM), and/or Product Lot Testing. Support of this item will be based on DLA Direct Deliveries, where the material would be shipped to either the New Cumberland, PA or Tracy, CA. DLA stock distribution locations and/or Customer Direct Deliveries, where the material is delivered to DLA customers throughout the United States may be required. No quantity or dollar value information is available at this time, as DLA Troop Support is still evaluating the acquisition scenario.
