- Notice of Intent Reference: # 2012-4306 The Division of Global AIDS Program Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract, in accordance with FAR 13, using simplified acquisition procedures, to Sedia Biosciences, 4900 NE 122nd Ave, Portland, OR, 97230. Sedia Biosciences will provide 80 HIV and BED kits-an enzyme immunoassay based on technology licensed from the US CDC for population estimates of HIV-1 incidence. Sedia Biosciences appear to be the only vendor that manufactures and sells these HIV immunoassays and Lag Avidity assay kits. No Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent. This advertisement ends in 7 days accordance with FAR 5.203 (A) (1).Any interested companies are welcome to submit their ability to provide these kits via e-mail, gqq4@cdc.gov. Please include reference number (2012-43067). Please respond by Tuesday, March 20, 2012.
