- The CONTRACTOR shall supply all supervision, labor, equipment, tools, and incidentals required to complete the work outlined in the statement of work section unless specified otherwise. The work under this project includes the renovation of 5B Audiology at the VA Western NY Healthcare System (VAWNYHS), 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215. Project Description The renovation of 5B Audiology project shall include, but not be limited to: providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary for Renovation 5B Audiology, installation shall include HVAC, plumbing, lab area, office space and patient fitting rooms. All applicable NFPA, NEC, OSHA, ANSI, ASHREA, All State, Federal Regulations, and local codes shall apply. Contractor is responsible for providing all necessary reports, logs, permits, and licenses as described in the specifications. All activities are to be coordinated with Medical Center COTR. This procurement has been set aside 100% to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. Offers from other than Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns will NOT be considered and shall be rejected. Solicitation packages will be available via FedBizOpps.gov on or about March 30, 2012. All questions concerning this project MUST be in writing and NO phone calls will be accepted. Please contact Kathleen Ellis at Kathleen.Ellis3@va.gov. NAICS code is 236220. Size standard is $35 million. Project Cost Range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bidders are encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting and walk through. The date, time, and location of the walk through will be revealed in the solicitation. NO OTHER WALK THROUGH WILL BE SCHEDULED. Bidders should re-visit the website located at www.fedbizopps.gov periodically to look for updates including the issuance of the solicitation. All requests for information are required to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer and shall be received prior to the bid opening by the date specified in the solicitation. NO hardcopies, NO telephone inquiries or questions, ONLY in writing, will be accepted no later than fourteen (14 days) prior to bid opening. Award is subject to availability of funds. This project requires bonding and all bid submissions shall be made in triplicate hardcopies. Faxed or emailed bids will NOT be accepted.
