- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT to procure the following service: - EBSCO Electronic Database Access The period of performance is 1 year from the date of the award. Database will be accessed from Aberdeen Proving Ground in Edgewood, MD 21010. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract (as prescribed in the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1) to EBSCO Industries, Inc., 5724 HWY 280 E, Birmingham Alabama, 35242-6818. EBSCO is the sole provider of the access to this database. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 519120 and the Business Size Standard is $7,000,000. Posting date of this requirement is March 6th, 2012. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, March 14th, 2012. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. This award is being made by the U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground Installation Contracting Division 4118 Susquehanna Avenue Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013.
