- SF-1449 combined synopsis/solicitation Scope of Work Provide to the Government 1 hydraulic actuated quick release Pin Grabber Coupler for a Caterpillar 330CL Excavator Serial Number DKY01908 to include installation. The vendor shall provide the coupler, install the coupler on the 330CL Excavator, install an auxiliary hydraulic control line, provide and install the necessary cab mount controls for in cab operation of the Coupler. Provide to the Government 1 Grapple type bucket attachment for the same Excavator listed above. Coupler specifications Coupler shall be designed to mount on a Caterpillar 330CL Excavator S/N DKY01908 Hydraulically actuated from the operator station Shall have a Primary pin hook with a highly visible secondary lock that provides a clear indication to the operator when the coupler is locked on to the pin Shall have over-center technology that prevents attachment release in the event of a hydraulic failure Grapple bucket specifications: 2 X 3 tine design Capable of 360 degree rotation, knock around type Designed for use with a 77,000# class Excavator Approximate width 46" Minimum opening width 72" Closing to approximately 12" or less Shall be contractor grade Installation Requirements: Inspect the pin holes on the Excavator Stick; make report with recommendation for repairs if needed Provide all parts, controls, tools and labor to equip the Excavator with necessary hydraulic line for coupler operation Supply needed mounting hardware to attach Grapple to Coupler W912ES-12-T-0061 Page 4 of 44 Other requirements: It is the option of the vendor to conduct the installation at the Governments facility at 431 North Shore DR, Fountain City WI or at their facility. If the vendor elects to conduct the installation at their facility it shall be their responsibility to transport the excavator from Fountain City to their facility and the return of the machine when the work is completed. Only the work identified in this Scope is authorized, any additional work that may be identified must have approval from the Contracting Officer before being completed.
