Description
The Government intends to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Nucleogenix, LLC, Dr. Dean Wideman, 127734 Cimarron Path; San Antonio, Texas 78249-3344. Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Installation Contracting Office, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, has repetitive requirements for a forensics consultant to be utilized by the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. (See (1) attachment - Sole Source J&A). The procurement will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Individual calls will not exceed $150,000.00. NAICS code for this procurement is 541990 and the small business size standard is $7M. This sole source requirement will be procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures using Other Than Full and Open Competition, and awarded on a sole source basis. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 5 business days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with establishing a BPA with Nucleogenix, LLC, Dr. Dean Wideman, San Antonio, Texas 78249-3344. Total estimated value of this BPA is $500,000.00. Responses are due by 4:00 pm, CST on 15 March 2012.
