The primary objective of the VDC is to provide the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and services to operate CMS business systems and to safeguard its data. CMS will issue IDIQs for both Large and Small Businesses, The VDC is considered mission critical. CMS will conduct an Industry Day Webinar at 9:00 A.M. (Eastern) on October 14, 2011. Parties/vendors wishing to participate in this webinar shall RSVP by 12 noon (Eastern) on August 26, 2011, with the words "VDC WEBINAR RSVP" in the Subject line, to the following e-mail address: OAGM-dsc@cms.hhs.gov In preparation for the VDC Industry Day Webinar, questions/comments shall be submitted by 12 noon (Eastern) September 2, 2011, with the words "VDC WEBINAR Questions/Comments" in the Subject line, to the following e-mail address: OAGM-dsc@cms.hhs.gov Note: Participating parties will be limited to 5 access lines, therefore conferencing at the vendors sites is encouraged.
