- F12PX00487 This is a notice of intent to go Sol Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 for the following items and services: Aqua Freed Process for two wellsProvide and install new 500 gpm pump bowls Vendor:WATER RECOVERY SERVICES INC2915 S Glenrose RoadSpokane, WA 99223 The Entiat National Fish Hatchery requires the rehabilitation of groundwater production Wells #1 and #5. Periodic rehabilitation and maintenance of these wells is vital towards maximizing well efficiency and the use of our water rights in an effort to fulfill mitigation responsibilities. Pathogen-free groundwater is utilized year round at this facility and is maximized for a nine-month period during peak production times. Water Recovery Services employs a patented Aqua Freed process utilizing gaseous and liquid carbon dioxide in well rehabilitation resulting in the detachment, dissolution, and removal of sediments and encrustation from the surfaces within the well screen and the surrounding aquifer. Various other techniques and vendors have been used at the Entiat National Fish Hatchery with poor results. The Aqua Freed process is a proven, trusted, and cost-effective method of rehabilitating and maintaining groundwater wells at this facility.
