- Description
- The Seattle District Corps of Engineers plans to solicit offers for the award of a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Construction, Renovation & Repair Projects at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington and Its Sub-Installations. The solicitation will be issued as 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. Up to five contracts are anticipated to be awarded under this MATOC. The pool of contractors that successfully receive an award will share the total contract capacity of $24.9M. Each contract will reflect a base year and four subsequent option years. Most task orders will range from $1M to $3M, but the minimum task order allowance will be $250,000, with a maximum task order limitation of $5M. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $33.5 Million. The scope of this acquisition includes, but is not limited to, construction activities such as renovations, repairs, minor building expansions and pre-engineered buildings (not to exceed the statutory limit for new construction), preventive maintenance, environmental abatement, erosion control, earthwork, civil work, road repair, roofing, excavation, interior/exterior elements, steam welding, mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression, structural, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), and anti-terrorism and force protection. The solicitation for this MATOC will require contractors to propose pricing for a seed project entitled, "Repair Building 04049 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA." The magnitude of construction for this seed project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All contractors proposing on Department of Defense solicitations must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of the contract.
