- Description
- The Social Security Administration requires mail room services at their offices located at 701 Fifth Avenue, Seattle, Washington. The contractor shall receive, sort and deliver incoming mail, and prepare and process outgoing mail. Offices are spread over 8 floors of the building. There are multiple locations to service on each floor. The government estimates the average mail count to be approximately 1,020 pieces of incoming mail, and 1,215 pieces of outgoing mail each five-day workweek. Within that mail, there are approximately 50 pieces of certified mail, and 50 pieces of express mail, and 25 pieces of interoffice mail. The government plans for a firm fixed price contract with a one-year base, and four option years. A solicitation will be posted at www.fbo.gov at a later date with full details of the requirement and instructions for making a proposal. Interested parties are encouraged to register at www.fbo.gov to receive email notifications when more information is posted. The solicitation will only be available at www.fbo.gov This procurement is 100% small business set-aside.
