Description
Attachment 5 - Representations and Certifications, fillable Attachment 4 - Subcontracting Plan Attachment 3 - Price Proposal Form Atachment 2 - General Provisions Attachment 1 - Technical Specifications RFP 198978 This specification outlines the minimum requirements necessary to meet ARM's science goals with the Scanning ARM Cloud Radar (SACR) and the associated infrastructure to install the SACR at each of the identified ACRF sites. The goal of achieving three dimensional coverage while maintaining adequate radar sensitivity involve tradeoffs that require flexibility in the operational parameters of the radar and its integral scanner. The SACR is a dual polarization/dual frequency Doppler radar mounted on a single elevation-over-azimuth antenna positioner. SACRs are deployed as either X/Ka-SACR or Ka/W-SACR. The SACR will be set up to operate in various modes by a local or remote operator. From a data flow perspective; the SACR radars shall be considered separate radars, each having its own separate data files. The SACR shall record data in hourly files that are pulled via ftp by the ACRF site data system. The SACRs shall be self-sufficient requiring only electrical power and a network connection. The shelter shall be based on an 8' x 8' x 20' sea container (aka ISO shipping container).
