Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, intends to solicit quotations for Coating Failure Analysis services on recently coated Hollowjet valves at Yellowtail Dam in Montana. The work required under the solicitation will consist of the furnishing of all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, incidental services and items and supervision necessary to satisfactorily conduct a coating failure analysis. The anticipated period of performance is 02 April 2012 through 06 April 2012. Quoters are urged to inspect the sites where the services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance. Failure by prospective quoters to inspect the site will not relieve the quoters from the responsibility of properly estimating the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work in accordance with the Government's requirements. Detailed information regarding the arrangement of site visits will be included in the solicitation. Pursuant to Part 12 and Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or around March 05, 2012. Quotes will be due on or around March 19, 2012. The RFQ will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541380 and the applicable Small Business Size Standard is $12.0 million. The RFQ will be available for viewing through electronic commerce. RFQ Number R12PS60157 will be issued via https://www.fbo.gov, at the link provided in this notice. Interested vendors may also check Reclamation's website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The RFQ and any subsequent amendments and/or notices will be available to vendors on these websites after March 05, 2012. Vendors are reminded they must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) to be considered for award. Registrations can be completed by going to www.ccr.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov/. The vendor's Duns & Bradstreet number and banking information are required for registration.
