- *****THIS IS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY: ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE OF THE COMPLETE SOLICITATION AND SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE POSTED ELECTRONICALLY ON FEDBIZOPPS WEBSITE AT www.fbo.gov ON OR ABOUT 03/19/2012.***** SOLICITATION DETAILS: This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 441310 with a size standard of $14.0 million. Intent is to award multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) amongst which calls for work will be competed. In order to be considered for award of a BPA, offerors must submit a qualification statement in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation, which will be issued on or about March 19, 2012. Offerors will be evaluated on past performance, experience and price. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Work includes installation of either Government or contractor furnished vehicle accessories (lights, sirens, control panels, cages, etc.) for Forest Service fleet vehicles. The primary focus will be on Law Enforcement vehicles, but other Forest Service fleet vehicles such as Fire vehicles may also be included. Orders will range from a single vehicle to multiple vehicles and work will be performed at various locations within Oregon and Washington. Each order will be competed amongst those contractors holding a BPA with the Forest Service. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: Contractors are encouraged to register as an interested vendor to be notified via email of any changes to this project, however it is the Offerors responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps for any possible amendments or changes to the solicitation.
