- USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to SC-ID, LLC. 304-M Harry S. Truman Pkwy Annapolis, MD 21404-7379 for purchase of Motorola MC55A Scanners SC-ID has previously supplied the Army Unified Logistics Activity with the Motorola MC55A (programmed and configured) for purpose of scanning and adding property to the Corp of Engineers Automated Personal Property Management System. These units will work with existing software and hardware already installed a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ERDC with no testing required and no additional cost to the Government. These scanners will be an extension of the existing system and will sustain capabilities to meet the property accountability mission. The Government intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures per FAR 13. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation to the Contract Specialist by 11:00 AM CST, Thursday March 8, 2012.
