- DESCRIPTION: The VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System intends to solicit a commercial (FAR Part 12) competitive requirement for Regulated Medical Waste removal and disposal service for the Omaha, Lincoln, and Grand Island VA Medical Centers. This is notice of intent solicit competition to the maximum extent practicable for this service. More detailed information will be found in the solicitation document to include a detailed scope of work and price schedule. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is March 2, 2012 with a quote due by March 14, 2012. Contractor to provide all tools, parts, transportation and labor to provide Regulated Medical Waste removal and disposal services to the Omaha, Lincoln, and Grand Island VA Medical Centers. All quotes received by 1:00 P.M. Central Time, March 14, 2012, will be considered by the Government.
