- This project accomplishes structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire suppression upgrades to Building 3601, Shields Hall Navy Gateway Inn and Suites(NGIS), a large three story, three wing (183,511 SF) Transient Quarters, and brings the facility within standards identified in UFC 4-721-10, UFC 4-010-01 and current building code compliance. Building repairs will require construction phasing to ensure facility remains operational.
