- The National Cemetery Administration intends to issue a Solicitation and award a Firm Fixed Price Contract to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to provide mowing, trash & debris removal services at the Long Island National Cemetery located at 2040 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735, per the attached Statement of Work. This Notice is for the purpose of conducting market research and obtaining industry information and is intended to identify all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, and other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the above requirement or any part of the above requirement. All businesses that are either presently so certified or believe that they meet the requirements for certification as a SDVOSB, VOSB, or SB are encouraged to respond by submitting an interest letter as soon as possible. All other businesses that would otherwise have an interest in being considered for this requirement are invited to submit an interest letter as soon as possible that demonstrates your ability to provide the requested services, or any part of the requested services, as described in the Statement of Work at an economical price. The Veterans Administration will use the information obtained through this Notice to develop an acquisition strategy and possibly fill interim requirements in advance of the release of the solicitation with Purchase Orders. This Notice shall remain in effect until superseded by a formal solicitation. All responses received will be evaluated. The government will not reimburse any costs connected with providing the requested interest and capability information.
