- Description
- The Maine Air National Guard has a requirement for a Hydraulic Component Test Stand (HCTS). The HCTS will primarily be used to support the KC-135 airframe, but must also be able to support A-10, F-15, F-16, C-5, C-17, C-130 and various other weapon system platforms. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement. The suggested contractor is Avtron Aerospace, Inc., 7900 E Pleasant Valley Rd, Cleveland, OH 44131-5529. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirement". This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Avtron Aerospace has been identified as the only current company approved by the Program Manager, WR-ALC/GRVBA, Robins AFB, GA, to supply this equipment. However, any firm that believes they possess the required approvals from the Program Manager and can provide the equipment listed below may submit a capability statement. Responses may be faxed to (207) 404-7482. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation.
