- Description
- This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract to American Science and Engineering, Inc. (AS&E), 829 Middlesex Turnpike, Billerica, MA 01821to provide X-ray systems required regular maintenance services to sustain its operation and availability for one (1) M66Z X-ray system, five (5) M101Z X-ray systems and twenty two (22) Gemini X-ray systems for use at various Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) locations. The period of performance is from 1 March 2012 to 28 February 2013. Interested companies may submit their capabilities and qualifications to provide these services via e-mail to Charles Clemons, no later than 12:00 PM, EST, Tuesday, 6 March 2012 via e-mail: Charles.Clemons@dhs.gov. Capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This Notice of Intent is Not a Request for Proposal (RFP).
