- Sources sought to provide Architecture/Engineering (A&E) services under NAICS code 541310 with a size standard of $4.5 Million for the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for A&E services at the VAMC in Clarksburg, WV. Only firms within 150 miles (or with branches within 150 miles) of the Louis. A. Johnson VAMC will be considered for award of this contract. The Louis A. Johnson VAMC, with approximately 350,000 square feet of owned facility space requires professional technical services in various disciplines to develop projects for necessary maintenance, repair and improvement to real property. The Louis A. Johnson VAMC seeks to establish an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (Multi-Disciplinary) contract (multiple awards) for providing multi-discipline professional A/E services for healthcare facilities maintenance, repair and improvement projects (new construction, renovation, alteration, improvement, repairs, and minor construction. The contractor shall have sufficient personnel, facilities, office space, equipment, transportation, and supplies necessary to perform the technical services as described in the Task Orders issued in accordance with this contract. Services are related to facility, engineering and construction design of various projects to buildings and real property owned or leased by the Department of Veterans Affairs Louis A. Johnson VAMC. The scope of work involves but is not limited to furnishing Architectural/Engineer Services Multi-Disciplinary in nature. Multi-Disciplinary work includes architectural, civil, structural, mechanical (Plumbing and HVAC), electrical, geotechnical, and engineering services related to healthcare facilities. Capable businesses are encouraged to respond via email with company name, contact name, telephone number and DUNS number. Companies should also include their size standard under NAICS code 541310 and their socioeconomic, category if applicable. Businesses who feel they may be capable of fulfilling this requirement shall submit all applicable information by 4:30pm local time March16, 2012. Sources sought only. This is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The information received will be considered market research solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct for a competitive procurement and if the procurement can be set aside for socioeconomic categories.
