- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution located in Pekin, Illinois intends to make a single award for the provision of commercial washers and dryers. The contract type is a firm-fixed price contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The solicitation will be available on or about March 5, 2012 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information regarding this solicitation, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register at www.ccr.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is March 20, 2012. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333312 with a size standard of 500 employees. This will be a full and open competitive procurement.
